To obtain information from the Register of Prisoners of War, apply to the National Information Bureau by filling out the appropriate application form.

To apply, include certified copies of documents that confirm kinship or the legal representative’s powers.

Defenders of Ukraine in captivity of the aggressor state have the right to receive information according to the Procedure for Maintaining the Register:

• Persons detained by the aggressor state (information about themselves);
• Relatives, close relatives, and legal representatives of persons who are/have been detained by the aggressor state.

Public authorities in Ukraine have the right to receive information as determined by their legislation.
