All 27 EU member states have agreed to provide Ukraine with financial assistance totaling 50 billion euros.
The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, announced this on his X-account.
He stated that this would offer Ukraine with continuous, long-term, and predictable funding.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal explained in his Telegram channel that the Ukraine Facility, a new financial instrument for Ukraine, will receive 50 billion euros over four years.
A significant portion of these funds will help finance the state budget and reduce the budget deficit.
The program includes creating a special investment instrument to cover risks in priority sectors. This will attract additional funds for investment.
