Regional budgets received over 30.5 million UAH to cover utility costs for institutions that provided free accommodation to internally displaced persons in August- September 2023.

The region and district councils manage municipal institutions, state educational institutions funded by local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities. These institutions are transferred for funding from local budgets.

The Government allocated these funds from the state budget’s reserve fund. The Ministry of Reintegration directed the funds to local budgets to compensate institutions that sheltered IDPs, following the relevant order of the CMU.
