Internally displaced persons receive a monthly state allowance for living expenses. The allowance is 3 thousand UAH for people with disabilities and children and 2 thousand UAH for all other individuals.

Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired a meeting of the Coordination Center for Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons.

In February, the state fully paid the housing allowance for internally displaced persons. Last month, approximately 2.5 million internally displaced persons received housing allowances worth over 5.8 billion UAH.

Since the beginning of 2024, 11.7 billion hryvnias have already been financed for payments to IDPs.
