In the first stage, it will run between five villages in the Mykolaiv region that do not have stationary pharmacies. This was reported on the Facebook page of the regional military administration. 

Thanks to the mobile pharmacy, residents of these villages will have access to essential medicines, including those provided by the Affordable Medicines Program.

The first mobile pharmacy in the region was launched under the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Mykolaiv Regional Health Insurance Company and the Ukrainian Red Cross Hospital.

In August 2023, the Government passed a resolution allowing licensees to establish mobile pharmacies for retail sales of medicines. These pharmacies can operate in rural areas where there are no pharmacies. Additionally, during the period of martial law, they can also operate in frontline areas.
