Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized this during the ‘Ukrainian Leadership in Aid’ conference in Kyiv today.

The Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations, with international partners, organized the event.

The conference aims to enhance the leadership of Ukrainian humanitarian actors within the aid system.

Iryna Vereshchuk thanked Ukrainian and international organizations for their selfless work on behalf of the Government. She acknowledged that with their help, it was easier to hold the humanitarian front.

The Vice Prime Minister addressed the localization of humanitarian aid during her speech. She stated that Ukraine has ample professionals with unique experience in this area.

Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized the importance of protecting human capital and relying on leadership and professionalism to enhance the effectiveness of the humanitarian response.
