The Government Portal reported that the children of fallen Defenders of Ukraine, who voluntarily participated in activities to ensure Ukraine’s defense and were not members of volunteer formations of territorial communities, are eligible for support.

Starting from April 1, the payment per child will increase from 2361 UAH to 7800 UAH. If the family has two or more children, the payment will be up to 6100 UAH for each minor.

The Government has resolved the matter of social assistance payments for children of volunteers who have been granted the status of family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine, by the Law ‘On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection’.
