Nine more children have been brought home as part of the President’s Bring Kids Back UA action plan. Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak announced this on his Telegram channel.  

Thanks to the cooperation of the Ukrainian authorities and the State of Qatar, the children were returned.

The Center for the Protection of Children’s Rights has already received four of them.

This was one of the boys who were returned. They had been living together in an orphanage after their mothers passed away. The government-controlled territory received Yuriy and Maksym, who are half-brothers.

With the help of the Ministry of Reintegration and the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, it became possible through their joint project, ‘The Way Home’.

However, due to the obstacles imposed by the occupation authorities, one of them could not be reunited with his family for an extended period.

We were able to return the young man to Ukraine this time and reunite him with his family.
