During martial law, an employer can receive compensation for labor costs when employing internally displaced persons under an employment contract, including part-time work.
Each employed IDP will receive compensation in the amount of the minimum wage. Currently, the amount is 7100 UAH monthly, which will increase to 8000 UAH from April 1.
An IDP can receive compensation for a maximum of 3 months from their date of employment. If the IDP has a disability, they can receive compensation for up to 6 months.
To receive compensation, follow these four steps:
– to employ IDPs;
– apply;
– wait for the results of the application review;
– receive funds.
The employer can submit this application between 5 days and 6 months after the date of employment. To do this, contact the employment center or use the Diia portal.
