The implementation of the Ukrainian-Polish Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation for Veterans project was discussed at a meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
In addition to discussing the concept of the project to create the Ukrainian-Polish Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation, the search for premises is underway.
They’re thinking about putting a center for people with mental illnesses in the Borodyansky Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation. But they’d need more beds.
Such a center could become a national institution with branches throughout Ukraine.
The Polish side must assess the possibility of placing it in the Borodyansky Center.
A Polish company EnForce, Poland Helps Ukraine, Siepomaga, and Solidarity Funds, with the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), is creating a modern prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Ukraine.
People will get prosthetics and go through rehab. The center also plans to make prostheses.
