More than 129.1 million UAH was transferred to regional budgets. The funds will cover the costs of utilities consumed by institutions during the free accommodation of internally displaced persons in October-December 2023. 

These are municipal institutions, state educational institutions that have been transferred for funding from local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities of the region and district managed by regional and district councils.

It should be noted that the government allocated these funds from the reserve fund of the state budget. Under the relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Reintegration transferred them to local budgets to pay compensation to institutions that sheltered IDPs.
