A grant competition has been announced for veterans and their families to receive up to 400,000 UAH to start a small business. The competition is part of the Reintegration of War Veterans through Educational Opportunities project.

The German non-governmental organization “German Association of Voluntary Universities” (DVV International) is implementing this initiative with the financial support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. This is stated on the representative office’s website.

The competition is open to:

– participants in military operations;

– persons with disabilities caused by war;

– family members of war veterans. Family members mean the wife, husband, or child of the above categories.

To enter the competition, you must live and plan to do business in one of the following regions: Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Nikopol, Poltava, or Sumy.

Once the application has been completed, participants who meet the conditions of the competition will be sent an application package of documents. This must be completed and sent by April 26, 2024, to the following email address: [email protected].
