In the first three months of 2024, 74,050 new entrepreneurs were registered in Ukraine. These statistics come from the Opendatabot platform and the Unified State Register.

This is 33.6% more than last year and 18% more than in 2021.

Kyiv has had more new entrepreneurs than any other city in recent years. In the first quarter of this year, 10,252 new businesses were registered in Kyiv.

Dnipropetrovsk region has 6,800 new businesses. Kyiv region came in third with 5,700 new entrepreneurs.

Retail trade is the most popular sector among Ukrainian entrepreneurs, accounting for a quarter of newly registered individual entrepreneurs. Other top sectors include personal services and computer programming.
