Farmers who applied for corn seeds through the State Agrarian Register (SAR) but didn’t have enough can get help. The government portal reported this.

Farmers cultivating between 5 and 500 hectares in the following areas will be able to access up to 40 sowing units (equivalent to 150,000 seeds) of sunflower:

– Dnipropetrovsk,

– Kyiv, and Kyivska,

– Sumy, and Kyiv,

– Kharkiv,

– Chernihiv.

Please be advised that no further applications are required via the SAR. The organizers will contact applicants directly.

Lidea Ukraine will deliver a total of 2,858 sowing units of sunflower to farmers through the USAID AGRO Programme. The delivery will be managed by the All-Ukrainian Association of Communities.

Preliminary forecasts indicate that the revenue generated from the harvest of donated seeds will be approximately UAH 360 million. This will facilitate the restoration of agricultural production in communities affected by conflict.
