The Baltic Business Forum “Cooperation for Ukraine’s Rebuilding” has started in Swinoujscie, Poland. The forum reinforces collaboration in the Black, Baltic, and Adriatic seas.
In a video message, Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Co-Chair of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, extended greetings to the participants.
The official extended her gratitude to the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and its President, Jacek Piechota, for their efforts in organizing and holding the forum. She also acknowledged the Government of Poland for its cooperation and support. Finally, she expressed her appreciation to Pawel Kowal, Special Representative of Poland to Ukraine.
Iryna Vereshchuk highlighted the importance of Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO as a key factor in maintaining geopolitical stability in Europe. It is also important to reinforce the relationship between Ukraine and Poland.
“If we can build a strong Ukrainian-Polish partnership and, on that basis, a strong node of the Three Seas, this will ensure prosperity for our peoples for a long period,” the Vice Prime Minister concluded.
The Baltic Business Forum has been bringing together politicians, local government officials, entrepreneurs, and experts from Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Germany, and other countries for 16 years.
This year’s event will focus on Ukraine joining the EU and NATO. They will also discuss security and reconstruction in Ukraine, the Polish-Ukrainian partnership, etc.
