People who leave dangerous areas in the Kharkiv region can become internally displaced persons again and get money. Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said this on Suspilne TV.

“People who have left Vovchansk and Liptsi are entitled to payments for internally displaced persons,” the Vice Prime Minister said.

We’re talking about people on evacuation lists made by local authorities.

If you left the Kharkiv region settlements where evacuation is mandatory, call the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration at (066) 283-41-43.

To renew the status of an internally displaced person, you must apply to the ASC or the Department of Social Protection in the host community.

The state pays IDPs UAH 2000 per month for adults and UAH 3000 for children and people with disabilities. This assistance is for six months.
