This year’s eighth wave of grant applications for veterans and their families has identified 71 winners who will receive UAH 34 million to start or develop their businesses. The Government portal reports.

The winners include 41 combatants and 30 family members of veterans. A total of 53 winners received grants of up to UAH 500 thousand, 13 received grants of up to UAH 250 thousand, and 5 received grants of up to UAH 1 million.

The majority of our grantees are based in the Lviv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Rivne regions, and the city of Kyiv.

Program participants plan to develop their businesses in wholesale and retail trade, temporary accommodation and catering, agriculture, and other services.

Since the program began, 623 veterans and their families have won the “Grant for Your Own Business” program. The state is investing 280 million in their businesses through grants.
