The Summit showcased successful regional case studies in veteran policy development and explored the potential for scaling these up with the involvement of new partners.

A cooperation agreement was signed with Poland to help war veterans and their families.

A Polish-Ukrainian rehabilitation center for veterans is planned. It will be based on the Borodyansky Centre for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation. The idea came from a meeting with Polish partners, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

Mykhailo Latynskyi, Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the TOT, thanked the Polish side for helping to develop the center.

“It is our responsibility to ensure that our soldiers have the opportunity to restore their health and undergo the necessary rehabilitation. We hope that the signing of today’s memorandum will give impetus to further expansion of the network of rehabilitation centers in Ukraine,” said Mykhailo Latynsky.
