The government just issued a decree transferring the entire property complex of Drohobych Oil and Gas College from the Ministry of Education to the local communities in the Lviv region.

The Ministry of Economy developed the draft order based on the agreed proposals of the Ministry of Education and the Lviv Regional Council.

The transfer of this integral real estate complex to the municipalities will contribute to the provision of housing for certain categories of IDPs residing in the territory of the respective municipalities. In particular, it allows for the repair of the respective premises at the expense of the local council, with their further use for the accommodation of IDPs.

At meetings chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk on implementing housing rights for internally displaced persons (IDPs), the issue of transferring this property to communities was discussed.
