This is the first state register of contaminated or likely-to-be-contaminated territories. The Cabinet of Ministers made the decision, the Government Portal reports.

The State Emergency Service (SES) will oversee the administration of the website, with technical support provided by the Humanitarian Demining Center (HDC). The registry will be launched once the SES has completed its operational readiness testing.

It is important to note that the launch of the registry will automate and accelerate several processes for monitoring and planning demining operations.

The Humanitarian Demining Center, government agencies, and local authorities will provide information for the registry. It will also be able to enter information from surveys.

We’ll include the entire area affected by hostilities in the register. We’ll exclude the surveyed area where we didn’t find or defuse any explosive devices.
