Previously, this information was sent via regular SMS messages. This was often used by fraudsters, imitating SMS with data from the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
From now on, to keep the families of prisoners and missing persons in the loop, the Coordination Centre will be sending push notifications via Diia. The Ministry of Digital Transformation reports.
How does it work?
If someone is missing, their relatives can apply online.
You will get notifications from this office in Diia:
– the application was confirmed;
– information was added to the case file;
– the person was released from captivity.
To get notifications, you need:
– be logged in to the Diia;
– have a verified taxpayer card;
– Apply online via the Coordination Centre’s website.
