At a regular meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council on Mental Health, co-chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and Minister of Health Viktor Liashko, the further development of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme ” How are you?” was discussed. It is being implemented at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska.

The participants talked about ways to improve mental health services. They must be available where people live, without changing their social environment.

The focus of attention will be on improving outpatient care. Hospitals will be gradually replaced by mental health centers, which are being created based on cluster hospitals.

A separate package of measures will bring psychiatric care in line with international standards.
