The grant is up to 70 thousand hryvnias. See the Space for Support of Public Organizations of Ukraine website. 

The NGO Crimea SOS started the program with the UNHCR’s help. The program helps internally displaced people to solve problems in their communities.

The grant covers Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Volyn, Rivne, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Cherkasy.

Who can apply for a grant: 

– An Initiative Group comprising a minimum of three individuals, at least two of whom must be IDPs or members of the war-affected population.

– A registered non-profit organization with expertise in assisting internally displaced persons.

Project applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

– The positive impact of the project results on the situation of IDPs in the community and society as a whole.

– The sustainability of the expected results.

– The relevance of the project in the region (settlement, community, or oblast) of its implementation.

– The number of direct/indirect beneficiaries.

– Successful cooperation with the authorities will be considered as an additional advantage.
