This refers to amendments to CMU Resolution No. 212 of 27 February 2024, entitled ‘Some Issues of Implementation of the Pilot Project on Dental Prosthetics for Certain Categories of Persons Who Defended the Independence, Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity of Ukraine’. 

People who have been injured in war or who work in the military can get free dental care.

This includes dental services like filling, removing teeth, and fixing teeth.

You can get services once a year, and they should cost no more than UAH 24,952.

The Ministry of Veterans spends 1 billion UAH on these needs.

How will it work?

The Ukrainian National Health Service will create a contract for medical institutions that want to take part in the project.

Veterans or combatants can apply to the institution with the free service contract.

In return, contracted institutions will be remunerated for the provision of such services.

The document was created by a team of experts from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The matter was addressed at the weekly meetings on veterans’ policy, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
