Ukraine is launching a grant competition for civic and charitable organizations to support initiatives related to shelter and protection of IDPs, housing reconstruction, and other humanitarian needs.

The competition is open to public and charitable organizations registered in Ukraine and operating in the Kharkiv, Poltava, and Dnipro regions.

The following grants will be provided for the following purposes:

– Modernization of facilities intended for IDPs.

– Repair of housing (including houses and apartments with light and medium damage).

– Minor repairs to public infrastructure, as well as the modernization and equipping of bomb shelters.

The competition will award approximately 38 grants of UAH 280 thousand each.

The deadline for applications is July 14, 2024, inclusive.

Project proposals for the competition should be in Ukrainian. Send them to [email protected] with all the attachments.

Please ensure that the subject line indicates that this is a project application and the name of your organization participating in the grant competition within the project “Support for Community Rehabilitation in Eastern Ukraine.”

The project is being implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation with the support of Switzerland and funding from Swiss Solidarity.
