The Peeple.ua Youth Educational and Communication Space is a creative space for young people from the TOT. It provides young IDPs with opportunities for personal development, skill-building, and social involvement.

The youth center moved from Melitopol. The NGO People.ua, the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine, the EU, the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, and the Melitopol City Council helped make it possible to open the center. The project was developed with the support of the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, who is now the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.

The center develops youth policy, supports young people’s creativity, conducts training, seminars, and programs, organizes leisure activities, and forms a national identity among young people.

The youth center has a Ukrainian Identity Center that promotes Ukrainian culture, language, and literature with free books.

The art school teaches young people and children to sing, play musical instruments, and more.

“The Zaporizhzhia RMA and Mr. Ivan have created a great hub for young people from the TOT,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
