The issue was discussed at an interagency meeting by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk. The meeting was held in an offsite format in Zaporizhzhia.

We talked to the right people about the new plan to give liquefied natural gas to people in the frontline areas of Kharkiv, Sumy, and Donetsk oblasts.

The project provides liquefied gas in cylinders to vulnerable people in frontline areas only during the winter.

The project is managed by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk. Its development is led by the Ministry of Energy, with the Ministry of Reintegration and other relevant ministries and agencies.

Furthermore, the participants addressed the technical and safety aspects of the project. In particular, they discussed the identification of liquefied gas storage sites, the safe filling of gas cylinders with liquefied gas, and the availability of equipment for their delivery.

The possibility of enlisting the support of international partners in the project, particularly in the provision of equipment that will facilitate the implementation of liquefied gas operations, was also discussed.
