In Kryvyi Rih, Iryna Vereshchuk conducted a site visit to the humanitarian hub, “With Bakhmut in the Heart.”

This hub was created last year for IDPs from Bakhmut. It has brought together hundreds of IDP families in Kryvyi Rih.

People can get food, hygiene kits, and other essentials at the center. IDPs can also get free legal and psychological help.

The Hub is pleased to collaborate with the Right to Protection Foundation, the UNHCR’s Proliska humanitarian mission, the Slavic Heart Foundation, Warren Buffett’s GEM Foundation, and the Side by Side Foundation.

The facility offers a range of activities for children, including English language classes, art therapy, music, and other creative pursuits.

Teachers from Bakhmut also provide instruction for displaced children in this facility.

“This hub shows how local authorities and humanitarian operators can work together. It helps IDPs settle in. Thank you to the City Defense Council and city authorities,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
