This medical center is a key cardiac care facility for the city. About 1,300 patients are treated here each year. These are not only from Kryvyi Rih and Dnipropetrovsk oblast but also from different regions of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Reintegration helped upgrade the cardiology center and buy new equipment. The shelter was fixed up.

The German government funds the project, especially the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW).

“I’m grateful to the German government for this help. Seeing our European friends providing funds to save lives and improve health is great. I’d also like to thank the city authorities of Kryvyi Rih for their effective work with international partners,” said Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
