Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister, led a meeting on humanitarian aid in Mykolaiv.
The participants talked about providing medicine to people in areas at the frontline.
The Mykolaiv RMA plans to add more routes for pharmacy mobile units. This will help cover more settlements in the region.
The Ministry of Health also suggested that the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration work with Ukrposhta on the “Affordable Medicines” program. The “Ukrposhta. Pharmacy” project, which delivers medicines for free, has also expanded to the Mykolaiv region.
They also looked at changing the law about social services for the elderly in temporary accommodation in the Mykolaiv region.
“Mykolaiv region is on the front line. Social support for residents there is especially important during war,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
