The facility was inaugurated in the town of Synelnykove with the backing of the European Union and the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine, as detailed on the program’s website.

Thanks to our partners, we fixed up the space and got new furniture and sewing equipment. It’s a nice, cozy place.

Needlework and sewing classes are held for older IDPs and locals. The youngest is 50, the oldest is 88.

Visitors can spend time with like-minded people, which helps IDPs adapt to the new community.

The center provides regular psychological counseling, with group meetings being a particularly popular service. Many families utilize this resource and individual sessions with a psychologist are also available.
