Families with children from the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions have already made it to government-controlled territory.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, shared this on his Telegram channel.

Parents say their kids were forced to go to russian schools and celebrate russian holidays. They also pressured Ukrainian citizens to get russian documents.

Public organizations and charitable foundations are working with government agencies to provide families with the help they need. Two of these organizations are the Kryla Association of Large Families and Caritas-Spes Ukraine.
