The public presentation of the report was organized by the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights with the support of the International Research and Exchanges Council in Ukraine (IREX). The event showcased the outcomes of the Strategy’s implementation and the operational plan for its implementation for the period from April 2023 to April 2024.

Roman Usenko, Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, participated in the event. He contributed to the panel discussion, “Practical aspects and problematic issues of the implementation of the State Policy Strategy on Internal Displacement for the period up to 2025 – national dimension.”

Roman Usenko provided an update on the implementation of the Operational Plan of the Strategy, outlining the mechanisms of implementation and the results of the Ministry of Reintegration’s oversight. He also highlighted that the Vice Prime Minister, Iryna Vereshchuk, is actively monitoring the progress of the Strategy’s Operational Plan measures.

The Ministry of Reintegration has ensured effective coordination of the activities of the Operational Plan implementers at all levels, particularly within the framework of the coordination headquarters chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

Furthermore, Roman Usenko stated that based on the findings of the annual assessment of the Ministry’s Strategy implementation, draft amendments to the Operational Plan have been prepared and he extended an invitation to representatives of the expert community to participate in its development.
