Iryna Vereshchuk led a meeting on humanitarian response in Chernihiv Oblast.
The mobile pharmacy units started in Chernihiv Oblast in April. They now operate on 19 routes and cover 68 settlements.
Some vehicles can get you medicines without a prescription or under the Affordable Medicines program.
More special vehicles were needed because there was more demand and more people to serve.
International partners will help resolve this issue. The Vice Prime Minister told the Chernihiv RMA to prepare an appeal. The Ministry of Reintegration will help coordinate this process.
“This service is important for people in frontline territories. It should cover as many settlements as possible without pharmacies,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
