Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and the Ministry of Reintegration team conducted a site visit to the Kyiv region. The objective was to assess the progress of facility restoration under the project to enhance housing conditions for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
The project is being implemented with financial support from the German Government and the assistance of the Ministry of Reintegration. The financial partner is the German state bank KfW, while the project manager is the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Iryna Vereshchuk, together with representatives of the Kyiv RMA, local authorities, KfW, and IOM, inspected the facilities. They also held discussions with residents and representatives of contractors. The meetings focused on ensuring compliance with construction schedules and quality assurance.
“Our objective is to facilitate the swiftest and highest quality reconstruction of the damaged buildings so that residents can resume their normal activities,” Iryna Vereshchuk stated.
