The Government Portal recently announced an update to the program, which will now be available to entrepreneurs under the age of 25.

Young people are eligible to receive up to UAH 150 thousand to launch their businesses. To qualify, they must register as a sole proprietor, though there is no obligation to create jobs.

The government has also expanded the categories of grantees. Those who have lost a spouse in service to the country will now be eligible to receive up to UAH 500,000. Additionally, wine producers and entrepreneurs engaged in activities related to active hostilities have been included in this list.

The grants will enable business owners to lease water bodies and purchase aquaculture equipment for fish breeding.

Over the two years of the program’s operation, entrepreneurs have received 20,000 grants for business development from the state. The state invested UAH 4.6 billion in the program. As a result, more than 38 thousand new jobs have been created.
