Non-governmental humanitarian organizations DanChurchAid and Norwegian Church Aid supplied sunflower briquettes for stove heating. Employees of the organization “Southern Development Strategy” distributed them among residents of Vasylivka and Kyselivka in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
The communities in question have suffered significant damage as a result of the hostilities, with the gas supply systems also affected. It is therefore necessary to provide additional support to residents in preparing for the winter period.
The Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine is providing financial support.
UNICEF started winter payments for residents of frontline areas.
Some households will get cash from the Red Cross to help them through the winter.
