The government has approved a decree entitled “On Approval of the Action Plan for the Restoration of Education in the De-occupied Territories for 2024-2027.”

The plan outlines critical steps to rebuild the Ukrainian education system in the DOTs, establish a secure learning environment, and guarantee the continuity of the Ukrainian educational process.

The plan includes forming a network of schools and other educational institutions on the DOT, creating a reserve of teachers, and setting up an education management system. It also includes providing educational materials and making up for lost education as a result of the occupation.

The act will help:

– Creating a good environment for a full education program at the DOT;

– Improving teachers’ skills at working with students.

– Providing quality education to everyone at all levels.

– Civil society will help restore quality education in the DOT.

The Ministry of Education created the draft law. The Coordination Headquarters for the de-occupied territories discussed its provisions.
