They were placed near the Ukrainian Red Cross in Bilenkivska, Ternuvata, and Novooleksandrivska.

The shelters protect people from explosions and shrapnel in case of shelling. One shelter can fit 10 to 15 people.

The project “Strengthening the Humanitarian Response in Low-Income, Remote and Rural Areas of the Most Affected Regions of Ukraine” implemented the initiative.

The shelters were installed with the support of the Red Cross Societies of Ukraine, Germany, and Denmark, as well as the EU.
