The government has approved a protocol between Ukraine and Poland. It amends an agreement on a loan from 2015.
The Protocol covers the following:
– Polish companies funded by a Polish government loan can take up to 8 years to pay.
– The value of the contracts can be changed if the work or market prices change.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine created a draft law to implement the 2015 intergovernmental agreement. The Ministry of Reintegration organized meetings to monitor this. The first meeting was in September 2022.
The amendments to the intergovernmental agreement approved by the resolution will enable the utilization of a portion of the loan from the Government of the Republic of Poland to settle contracts concluded in 2017-2018. This reflects the application of the loan as an expenditure of the special fund of the budget program.
