In September, seven regions received 600 generators. The equipment was handed over to the Dnipropetrovs’k, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
The Ministry of Reintegration worked with the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make this happen.
The generators will keep hospitals, schools, and other important buildings working if there is a power cut.
This project shows how central and local authorities and international partners can work together to help people affected by war.
The Ministry of Reintegration thanks the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism for its help and is ready to work with it to overcome humanitarian challenges in times of war.
