This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk on March 30, 2022 at the outcome briefing in the Office of the President of Ukraine.
She clarified that all evacuees were traveling by their own transport.
Among them 812 people are from Mariupol. Another 718 are residents of Berdyansk, Melitopol, Energodar, Pologi, Orikhiv, Gulyaypole and Vasylivka.
“Despite the agreement with the Russian Federation, its occupying forces continued the practice of blocking evacuation buses and trucks with humanitarian aid in the city of Vasylivka” – said Iryna Vereshchuk. “We continue to take all possible measures to ensure that the humanitarian columns pass tomorrow morning”.
