The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said that today, unfortunately, the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol did not work – despite all the efforts of Ukraine.
“Due to the lack of control over their own military on the ground, the occupiers were unable to ensure a proper ceasefire” – she explained.
Also, due to their inherent disorganization and sloppiness, they were unable to ensure timely transportation of people to the point where dozens of our buses and ambulances were waiting for them.
“Tomorrow morning we will renew our efforts in the Mariupol direction. I appeal to our people in Mariupol: we will fight for each of you!” – Iryna Vereshchuk assured.
