This opinion was expressed in an interview with foreign media by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
She stressed that «in recent years, the army has been the state institution that Ukrainians trust the most. Putin believed that by intimidating civilians, as in Mariupol, he would turn citizens against their government. But the opposite happened. The whole country is now against his army».
She also said that Ukraine, despite being forced to fight since 2014, has managed to reorganize its army, develop logistics and supply chains, hold national and international trainings.
«This meaningful work is producing results today» – the official stressed.
