During a briefing at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center, the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk spoke about the key tasks and problems in the work of humanitarian corridors.
“Today we are working on the main corridor Mariupol – Zaporizhzhia” – she said. – There, without exaggeration, a humanitarian catastrophe on a global scale. People around the world can just see online the shocking effects of the russian air strikes on civilian targets, killing our children and women”.
Iryna Vereshchuk stressed that the key task of the Ukrainian authorities is to open a humanitarian corridor and help people survive. Currently, 45 buses have left Zaporizhzhia for Berdyansk and are at the Vasylivka checkpoint.
But – the russian federation once again does not pass a column.
“Therefore, we again ask and demand from the world community to focus their attention and help people escape from occupied Mariupol!” – Iryna Vereshchuk called on the world community.
