The Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk reported on the results of the work of humanitarian corridors on Sunday, April 3.

According to her, 469 Mariupol residents arrived in Zaporizhzhia by their own transport from the humanitarian corridors from Mariupol and Berdyansk.

Currently, the 10 busses pass the last checkpoint of the occupying forces in the town of Vasylivka, which evacuated 408 Mariupol residents from Berdyansk today.

“We managed to pass the checkpoints of the convoy of buses, which have been held by the Russian military since yesterday – they carry more than 350 people from Mariupol and Berdyansk,” said Irina Vereshchuk.

7 buses accompanied by a delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross also arrived in Mangush. The Russian Federation agreed to allow them to arrive in Mariupol on April 1. Negotiations are underway to continue the movement to Mariupol tomorrow, the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Almost 1,500 residents were evacuated from the cities of Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne and Kreminna in the Luhansk region. It was not easy. After all, despite the agreement, the occupiers systematically violated the ceasefire during the evacuation in Luhansk region, the official said.
