Iryna Vereshchuk: “4,354 people have been evacuated on April 11”

The Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk spoke about the work of humanitarian corridors today, April 11.

From Mariupol and Berdyansk, 3,854 people traveled to Zaporizhzhia by their own transport and evacuation buses.


▪️556 people – Mariupol;

▪️3298 people – residents of cities of Zaporizhzhia region (Pology, Vasylivka, Berdyansk and Melitopol).

For the third day, the occupiers are violating agreements to ensure the passage of a convoy of buses from Zaporizhzhia to evacuate people from Berdyansk, Tokmak and Energodar. They are holding them at a checkpoint in Vasylivka, Iryna Vereshchuk said.

At the same time, more than 500 people were evacuated from the cities of Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Kreminna and Popasna in the Luhansk region, despite constant violations of the ceasefire by the occupiers, she said.
