In an interview with the TV chanel TG3, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk named three factors that could stop russian aggression.

“putin will be stopped by the Ukrainian army, sanctions and negotiations!” – the official stressed.

She clarified that Ukraine will not be able to cope on its own: the joint participation of European countries and the United States is needed. We need very strong sanctions, including oil and gas embargo.

“putin must be stopped economically. The stronger the international isolation and embargo, the sooner he will sit down at the negotiating table” – Iryna Vereshchuk stressed.

She clarified that President Zelensky is ready to meet with Putin and discuss the stoppage of russian aggression and the withdrawal of russian troops from Ukraine.

Iryna Vereshchuk reminded that putin frightens with weapons not only our country but also other countries.

“He is the enemy of the whole civilized democratic world! Everyone must understand this” – the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted.
