Iryna Vereshchuk: we will not stop trying to pull out Mariupol residents!

The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said that today, unfortunately, there is no good news about the evacuation from Mariupol.

“Everything is going very hard. From the russian side, everything is very complicated, chaotic, slowly, and, of course, dishonest” – Vereshchuk said.

However, according to her, the fact that yesterday people went from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia for the first time directly (there are the four buses that left Mariupol yesterday) gives hope.

“We apologize to the people of Mariupol who did not wait for the evacuation today. The shelling started near the meeting place, which forced the corridor to be closed. Dear citizens of Mariupol, you have to know: as long as we have at least some opportunities, we will not give up trying to pull you out of there! Hold on!” – Iryna Vereshchuk urged, addressing the residents of Mariupol.
