Supporting craftspeople, popularizing goods made from natural raw materials, and modernizing Ukrainian cultural heritage were the goals of the This is Craft platform, created in Nova Kakhovka for Ukrainian producers and artists. Until the war broke out…

After February 24, the team started volunteering in their hometown, putting themselves in danger.

“During the two months under occupation, we built new economic chains that still support organizations that are deprived of funding: orphanages, rehabilitation centres, and social services. Nevertheless, we still decided to evacuate when we got the information that activists like us would be targeted very soon,” recalls Viktoria.

So, Uman became the new home for the platform. Here, the team not only continued its activities but also began to develop actively: they opened their first offline store and are engaging the Uman community in supporting small businesses.

Now Victoria is making big plans for the future, as she is sure that fate will show her the right path.
